I am searching for the parents of Mary E. Brasfield b. 1812 in NC. She married William S. Ligon on 21 Oct. 1831 in Wake Co. NC. They moved from NC to AL between 1834-1837 and were living in Greene Co. AL in 1850. They were living in AR by 1855. One source says she was the daughter of Major Brasfield.
