Barbara "Sister" Myers Wells, 60, of Robinsonville died Thursday, December 10, 2009, at her home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville with Danny Prater officiating. Burial followed in Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Pittman Myers and Mattie Mae Brassfield.
She is survived by her husband, Teddy Wells of Robinsonville; two sons, Sammy Wells of Cleveland and Jeff Wells and his wife Angie of Oxford; two sisters, Wanda Hall and Hazel McCool, both of Ruleville; three brothers, Bo Myers of Cleveland, James Myers of Ruleville and Jerry Myers of Florence; and one grandchild, Benjamin Wells of Oxford.
Pallbearers were Mike Myers, Jamie Myers, Ronnie Myers, Pat Myers, Paul Wells and Brian Harris.

I have seen records that James Augustus Brasfield also went by J.G. Brasfield. The 1910 Chickasaw County census shows a J. G. Brasfield 72, wife Mary E. 68, son Wm. L. 14, son Jas. C. 12, son-in-law D. W. Bridges 31, daughter Sophronia 32, grandson Clyde Bridges 5, and daughter Annie Brasfield. Do you know if Wm L. and Jas. C. are the sons of James Augustus/J.G. or perhaps grandsons? I'm looking for a Cleveland (possibly James Cleveland) Brasfield born 1898 in Chickasaw County, MS. Appreciate any help.
