Notes:

My father was Herbert Brassfield and his father was Ambrose Addison Brassfield. John Lindsay was the father of Ambrose Addison. I am 80 years young and live in Kentucky.

Mike:

So far as I know my father, Herbert, was the only child. Apparently Ambrose Addison died while my father was very small. His mother then married Ancil Parks. My dad and mother had the following children namely;

Herbert Edward born 1917....died 1918

Clyde Milton born 1919....died October 31, 2001. He was a doctor and delivered over 3500 babies at the local hospital

Roy (that's me) born 1921. Retired medical Administraor.

Harold Adrian born 1923. Died March 6, 1944. Was tail gunner on a B-17 which was shot down over Holland while returning from a mission to Berlin. This was his 25th mission.

Helen Joyce Richards born 1928. Retired Hospital Medical Records director. Lives in Bakersfield, Ca.

I have one son and two daughters. I have 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. (I think that is right)

Helen has a son and two daughters. She has 5 grandchildren

Clyde and his wife never had children

A great source of info on all the Brassfields and Brasfields is a lady name Donna Johnson who lives in California. She has done a tremendous amount of research and has almost 4000 names listed. Her e-mail address is Sydnee88@aol.com
