Robert Singleton officiating. Burial was in Rehoboth Cemetery. J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Brasfield of Dyersburg; five daughters, Evie Jean Gant of Hornsby, Donnie Jean Hays of Lenox, Tammy Jean Chessor and Sandra Kay Brasfield, both of Dyersburg and Teresa Ann Redden of Lewisburg; three sisters, Linda Garrett, Joan Flippens and Sharon Walker, all of Dyersburg; three brothers, David Brasfield and Wyman Brasfield, both of Dyersburg and Jimmy Brasfield of Halls; and 16 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brian Redden, Keith Hays, Edward Chessor, Gary Gant, Henry Lawson, Gary Brasfield, Timmy Brasfield and Billy Dewayne Flippens.
