1805 State Census
Wilkinson County, Mississippi
Transcribed and Submitted by Virginia Ewing
Transcriber Notes:
At the time this census was taken, Wilkinson county was much larger than it is
today, taking in what is now Amite Co., and parts of other counties as well. Amite County was formed in 1809, four years after this particular census.
Parts of the paper missing and some names smeared. I have put .. for parts
that I can not read or am unsure of. I know some names are wrong. Some of them make no sense at all, but I tried to decipher them letter by letter.
The microfilm is available for rental through any LDS Family History Center for $3.25 cents plus tax for the first month.
