Friendship - ELEANOR"MissTom" BRASFIELD, 95, passed away May 25, 2008. She was an avid quilter, cook and gardener. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 26 at Friendship Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. with services to follow at 11 a.m. both Tuesday, May 27 at Friendship Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bell Vernon Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Finis Brasfield. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Sue Nash and husband, Buck and Mattie Peay Brasfield; two sons, Taylor Brasfield and Frank Brasfield and wife, Linda Ann all of Friendship; one sister, Montrey Sue Gifford of Memphis; one step-sister, Anna Bell Richardson of Dyersburg; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
