    Willie Jean Masters Brassfield, 82, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, July 11, in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 30, 1921 in Mena and was formerly the senior center and site director for Logan County. She was a member of Westwood Baptist in Greenwood. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, at Westwood Baptist Church with burial in Cross Cemetery in Greenwood, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Lyness McMillian of Greenwood; one son, Gary Brassfield of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Terry Walters, Jeff Thompson, Steve McMillian, Scott Withrow, Justin Brassfield, Richard Adams, Cris Willis and Randy McIyer.

    Wille married BRASSFIELD, Oscar about 1940. Oscar (son of BRASSFIELD, George Washington Town and CLEM, Virginia) was born on 21 Jan 1921; died on 6 Sep 2002; was buried in Mena, Polk County, Arkansas (Pinecrest Memorial Park). [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
