To provide his full name - Walter B. Kirk. Also to add that Walter Kirk (my father) changed his name from Walter B. Jump to Walter B. Kirk just before he married my mother Etta Brassfield. My father changed his name to Kirk because he was orphaned as a child, ran away and lived with the Kirk family in northern Kenturcy. Walter servered in the armed forces as Walter B. Jump according to his discharge papers from service.
Walter married BRASSFIELD, Etta Elizabeth on 29 Sep 1930. Etta (daughter of BRASSFIELD, Thomas E. and MAYFIELD, Relda J.) was born about 1912 in McCreary, Kentucky, USA. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
