The funeral for Jack Lynn Rheude, 56, of Enid, will be held at a later date. Arrange-ments are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. He was born July 6, 1949, in Milan, Tenn., to Julius John and Lillian Louise Brasfield Rheude and died Tuesday, June 6, 2006. His family moved to Deland, Fla., when he was 7. He graduated from Deland High School in 1968, and then was drafted into the Army. He was in the 82nd Airborne stationed in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969, and then for a short time at Fort Benning, Ga., as drill sergeant. He moved to Enid in the 1970s and then to Tulsa where he attended Tulsa Junior College to get his surveyor?s certificate and take the civil engineering exam. He worked for MW Kellogg for about a year. He opened his own business, Surveying Services Inc., and Engineering Consultants Inc. He returned to Enid following a car accident. He married Robin Plato in Enid in 1987. He worked for Mark Roberts Honda and WAKO. Surviving are his wife, Robin, of the home; one son, Kyle Rheude and one daughter, Kasey Rheude, all of the home; one sister, Rita Froemming of Enid; and one brother, Jim Rheude of Indianapolis, Ind.
