I am desended from Mary Gilreath. Mary Gilreath, b. 8 July 1869, d. 25 July 1957, m. Humphrey Posey Scott, Jr. (1862-1935). Their children: Wheeler (1883-1962) Jess (1891-1980), my great grandfather Hubert (1900-1994) Irving (1894-1962) Humphrey Posey's father fought in the NC 62nd Infantry regiment.
