Funeral services for Ruby Harrell Anderson, 92, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 16, 2010 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Step Martin and Rev. John McDonald. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 at the funeral home.
Ruby was born on September 25, 1918 in Crowville, LA to Benjamin and Alma Harrell. She passed away on October 13, 2010 in Shreveport. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Hammond Anderson; son, Billy Ray Anderson; grandson, Billy Hammond Anderson. She is survived by daughters, Kathryn Brasfield and husband, Albert, Ouida Pennington, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Albert Brasfield, Eddie Stuart, Ronnie Vaughan, Chris Brasfield, Gary Anderson, John Terry and Dwayne DeLoach.
