Mr. Bob Cross, 55, of Blytheville, died Sunday, March 30, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Blytheville. Born in Hurleyville, N.Y., the son of Harold Sr. and Virginia Ackerly Cross, he had been a resident of Blytheville for the past eight years. Mr. Cross was a maintenance worker for Moody's Appliance Service and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
His father and two sisters, Roberta Schmidt and Delores Katz, preceded him in death.
Mr. Cross leaves his mother, Virginia Dunn of Hurleyville;
His children, Tina Davis and her husband, Stephan, Bob Cross Jr. and his wife, Beth, and Wade Cross and his wife, Susan, all of Gosnell, Kathy Riveland and her husband, James, of Silver City, N.C., and Joe Cross of Blytheville;
Two brothers, Roger Cross of Blytheville and Harold "Sonny" Cross Jr. of Fallsburg, N.Y.;
Five sisters, Lillian Miller, Louise Seitz, Donna Unger and Viola Benjamin, all of Monticello, N.Y., and Edith Breakey of Kiamesha Lake, N.Y.; and
Ten grandchildren, Zack, Nick, Allen, Heidi, Heather, Gabrielle, Allison, Amber, Kaitlyn and Rebecca.
Funeral services will be private, with no visitation. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville is in charge of arrangements.
