Georgia Mason October 9, 1907 January 5, 2004 HILLSIDE, Ill. -- Georgia Ella Mason, 96, of Hillside, Ill., died Monday at Renaissance Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 9, 1907, at Gould, Ark., a daughter of the late Charles Brassfield and Minnie Brassfield. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church at Pine Bluff. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Robert Mason. Survivors include one son, Elijah Mason of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Ella Mae Smith of Chicago; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Galilee Baptist Church with the Rev. Crosby Brunson Jr. officiating. Burial will be in P.K. Miller Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of Elijah Mason, 2020 W. 22nd Ave.
