I dont know if you add information, but this is my grandfather, his wife was named pearl higgins. i am trying to find out more info, but most of his children are gone or just never cared to hear the family history. I know he was from Hueytown Alabama, and his children are John L. (II), Alice Bell, Mary Nell there are more, but privacy prevents me from giving you the info until I know more. If you could reply and let me know if there is a link that gives info on where they originally came from (i have heard ireland and liverpool), and that John was descended from a Brasfield that indentured himself to pay for passage in the 1700 or 1800. Postmaster of the Clough Post Office in Quinton, Alabama from 1898 to 1912. His brother, William Leonard Brasfield, was listed as the postmaster of the Flat Creek Post Office
