It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie F. Marche-Gale announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Friday, October 12, 2001 at the age of 87 years. She will be sadly missed by four sons: Jack (Ursula) Marche, Bartholomew Marche, both of Port au Port, Fintan (Marg) Marche of Saskatoon, Nish (Darlene) Marche of Port au Port; two daughters: Joyce Brasfield of Stephenville, Jean (Franz) Zenz of Kippens; four brothers: Phonse LaCosta, Mercier LaCosta, Rory LaCosta, Johnny LaCosta; four sisters: Sadie LaCosta, Isabel LaCosta, Kathleen LaCosta, Margie Duffenais; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Wallace Gale. Friends may call at the Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port East on Saturday after 3:00 p.m. and Sunday. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, October 15th at 10:30 a.m. from the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roderick "Rory" LaCosta announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Friday, February 9, 2007 at the age of 78 years. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Margaret Cecil) Duphney of Ontario, Mercedes Tudjan of Calgary, Alberta, Isabell (John) Vogel of Nebraska, USA, brothers, Alphonsus (Mary) of Campbell's Creek, Port au Port, Mercier (Josephine) of Corner Brook, John of Port au Port East. He will be also sadly missed but not forgotten by a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Jeanette LaCosta, parents, John and Emma LaCosta, brothers James, John, Harold, Bert, Bernard, Stan and sisters Annie, Philomena, Theresa, Kathleen. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Sunday, February 11th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, February 12th at 10:00 a.m. at St.
