Mike was raised in Alaska, Wash., and Morro Bay. He grew up playing sports, cooking with his mom and watching soap operas. Moving to Lancaster in 1982, Mike worked in construction and throughout the years, ended up as a proud business owner of WellsEason Development. A few of his accomplishments were LPAC and City Hall. Mike was an extreme sports enthusiast who loved to golf, coach his kids, and watch sports of every kind. He prided himself on never missing one of the kid's games. A giant Teddy Bear, Mike is survived by his wife of 23 years, Gail (Berry) Wells. Also children Christina (Brandon) Hyneman, Eric (Lorin) Wells, Sally (Ryan) Green, Rebecca Wells, Lacey Wells (Peaches), and the light of his life, granddaughter Abigail Alaina Wells. Parents Fred and Joanne Wells. Grandmother Lee Wells, siblings Debbie (Phil) Bushell, Fred (Lynn) Wells, and Cindy (Greg) Sanner, and many nieces and nephews. Per Mike's wishes, a party is being hosted in his honor by friends at Scramblez Grill and Bar (2715 West Ave L) on Saturday, April 9, between 3:30 and 6:30 pm.
