2. | JACKSON, Samuel B was born in 1812 in Kentucky, USA (son of JACKSON, John and UNKNOWN, Mildred); died on 13 Nov 1868. Notes:
Jack -
The only thing that I have on Samuel Brasfield Jackson is in the recording of his marriage to Delilah W. Perkins on June 07, 1832 in Wilcox County, Alabama. Parents listed as John and Mildred Jackson. I do not know his mother's (Mildred) maiden name - perhaps "Brasfield"? His wife's brother, William Fereby Perkins, had a grandson named Brasfield Perkins. My assumption is that the Perkins siblings (Deliah and William) had a "Brasfield" in their maternal line somewhere - "Brasfield" being my line of research.
War wound described in "Voices from Company D: diaries by the Greensboro Guards, Fifth Alabama"
Died:
Not consistent with finding him alive in the 1870 Census
