17242 You raise an interesting question. Although I have an Ira Brasfield in the data base, of about the right vintage, he shows a different wife. I have added Lula Pearl Peal as a daughter of John Henry Peal and Nancy Jane Hay, and will try and research the exact connection. A quick check of the LDS and Ancestry.com internet data bases don't help much, other than to show some likely siblings for Nancy Hay. Thank you very much for the information provided. If anything else turns up, I will let you know. Mike Brasfield

I have located about a half dozen Lula Brasfields. They range from Mary Lou "Lula" Brasfield to "Lula" Mae Brasfield and 3 or 4 plain "Lula" Brasfields. Do you have any more particulars?

Michael: I believe Charles Brasfield was her nephew. I saw the reference to either Robert or Andrew Addkison in the site, and she is from that family. I have the "Addkison" book that Charles Brasfield put out in the 60's or 70's and have a couple pictures of him and his wife with my Great-grandmother when they visited her in St. Louis. Are you related to the Charles Brasfield that published the Addkison book?
