  published in the "Liberty Tribune" Clay County, Missouri October 19, 1877 Died - Mr. Thos. J. BRASSFIELD, for many years an old and respected resident of Platte and Clay Counties, died at Harlem last Tuesday, aged 73 years. He was a native of Clarke County, Kentucky, and a relative of Judge John S. BRASSFIELD of this county at whose burying ground the remains were buried last Wednesday.
