- ALGONQUIN - Eleanor A. Brasfield, 86, of Algonquin, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 24, 1924, in Forest Park, to Raymond and Anna (Kiemel) Triner. She was a member of the St. Margaret Mary Parish. She is survived by her children, Mary Ann Steinlein of Hempstead, N.Y., Raymond (Joyce Hongsermeier) Brasfield of Lancaster, Md., Kathie (Ruben) Camarena of Crystal Lake, William Brasfield of Algonquin, Susan (Charles) Healy of Lake in the Hills and Geri Brasfield of Lake in the Hills; seven grandchildren, Kelly, James (Chandra), Angie (Shaun), Ramie, Randi (Joe), Chuck and Eleanor; and eight great-grandchildren, Patric, Charolette, Lisette, Hannah, Sara, Gabriel, Elijah and Tristan. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 47 years, Roy Jay Brasfield Sr.; and a son, Roy Jay Jr. The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel, 201 S. Main St., Algonquin. The visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 11, until the funeral Mass is celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 111 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin.
