- Mrs. Pearlie Jeanette Stenhouse Pool, 92, of Newnan, Ga., died at home on March 18, 2001, surrounded by her family.
Born November 26, 1908, in Hartford, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Minnie E. Brassfield and Thomas W. Stenhouse. Jeanette moved to Denver, Colorado in 1933 where she was a homemaker and raised eight children. She lived in San Leandro, CA from 1971-1980, Phoenix, AZ 1980-1997, and in Georgia from 1997 until the date of her death. She was active in the Phoenix Manzanita Senior Citizen Center where everyone called her friend. Her devotion to God and to her family was unfailing. Her children and grandchildren love her dearly and will miss her always. Jeanette was treasured by all who knew her.
A funeral was held at McKoon Funeral Home, March 20, 2001, with Reverend Brian Lenox, Jeanettes grandson, officiating.
Burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, Georgia.
Survivors include her children: Dolores Skeith, Beverly Lenox, Glenna Purcell, Eddie Doss, Jeanette Rust, and Janice Clark; grandchildren: Tammy, John, Lester, Bruce, Johnny, Billy, Adrian, Melody, Lana, Joey, Pat, Mike, Cathy, April, Phyllis, Lenny, Mike, Vicki, Ross, Tim, Beverly, Greg, Brian, Jeff, Danny, Charmaine, Jennene, Corinne, Eddie and Cristine; over 70 great and great great grandchildren; and, her siblings: George Stenhouse, Melvin, Dovey, Charles, and Glendon Clem.
Mrs. Pool was preceded in death by two of her children: Jewel Sarno and Lester Coffman.
