Notes - The story my husband's grandmother tells about Eber is that he helped his stepmother, Lula Jane kidnap his half siblings back from the orphanage where they were taken in Tennessee and then fled to Arkansas, which is why a lot of the records are hard to find, they didn't want to be found and sent to prison, or have the children taken away again. This was supposedly after Joseph had passed away and Lula was raising her five plus some of the younger step children. - John and Nicole Dollins
