- (May 31, 1983) Funeral services for Mrs. Eula May Anson, who died Tuesday at Research Hospital in Kansas City, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of the Norman-Wagy-Singer Funeral Home. The Rev. Walter Bingham will officiate. Burial will be in Camp Ground cemetery near Osgood. Mrs. Anson, 73, resided at 327 Mansur. She was born Sept. 16, 1909, daughter of Vernie Eldow Brassfield and Cleo Etherl Stocksberry, near Osgood. She attended school in Galt. Mrs. Anson, a homemaker, had lived in Chillicothe for the past 30 years moving here from Hurdland. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Autumn Leaves Club. Surviving are four daughters, Betty M. Thompson, Chillicothe; Lois J. Willett, Gladstone; Mary A. Brokamp, Kansas City, and Dorothy L. Bybee, Blue Springs; three sons, Lloyd A. Anson and Kenneth E. Anson, both of Chillicothe, and Lyle E. Anson, Raytown; brother, Jack Brassfield, Kansas City; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
