- Marjorie Alice Link, 87, Overland Park, KS, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2005, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. followed by the memorial celebration of her life at 11 a.m., Wednesday July 13, at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd. In memory of Marjorie Link, memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection. Marjorie was born February 12, 1918, the beloved daughter of William H. and Estella V. Brower of South English, IA. She was married to David L. Link on June 3, 1938 and separated only during the war years until his death on March 6, 2001. She was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection though her declining days prevented her from attending as she desired. Above all, Marjorie's faith was most important to her and her family was her most valuable prize in this world. Marjorie is survived by a son, David W. Link and his wife, Lynn of Blue Springs; a daughter, Virginia Cook and her husband, Royce of Overland Park; and a son , Stephen and his wife, Dianna of Overland Park. Grandchildren include Lori Hankins, Amy Walter, Adam Link, Lisa Hertel, Scott Cook, David Link and Christy Seele. Marjorie is also survived by nine great grandchildren, Alex Hankins, Megan Walter, Katie Hankins, Link Walter, David W. Cook, Amanda Link, Shiloh Link, Lexington Link and Quinn Link.
