From this research of Quaker families it appears that the family of James Cockayne, Sr.,
emigrated from Talbott Co., Maryland to Wayne County, Indiana (possibly stops in between)
and the Unthank family emigrated from Guilford County, North Carolina (New Market Monthly
Meeting) and both families were early members of the Whitewater Monthly Meeting in Wayne
County, Indiana.
