On my site I have:
Sallie E. Brassfield (dob 1/8/1870), daughter of Sedrick Perry Brassfield, wife of an unknown Mr. Helins/Hulen/Hulin/Eulin.
Sally Brassfield (dob est. 1873), daughter of Aaron Franklin Brassfield, wife of John Kelse Hallum.
The named fathers of these 2 names/individuals are brothers (Sedrick & Aaron).
In reviewing the source documentation (Brasfield-Brassfield Genealogies by McAllister circa 1959) it is clear that my web site is incorrect. The source document indicates that Sedrick Perry Brassfield had 10 children (including Sallie E. Brassfield), and that Aaron Franklin Brassfield had 5 children, not 6 - none of them named Sally.
I will make the appropriate correction, and very much appreciate your catching the error.

I have a question that I am hoping you can help me with. I am trying to help a distant cousin of mine with her paternal line. According to her it goes from Emma Mae Hallum (my cousin), to Simon Monroe and Nellie (Morton) Hallum, from Simon to John Kelse and Sally Emmeline (Brassfield) Hallum, to Clinton Monroe and Malinda Caroline (Tennison) Hallum. From Sally Emmeline Brassfield to S. Perry and Matilda "Tildie" (Gee) Brassfield.
On your site you show the Sally Brassfield that married John Kelse Hallum as being the daughter of Aaron Franklin and Elizabeth Jane (Stand) Brassfield.
I would appreciate your giving me your source for Sally's parents.
