  Printed in the Times Post, Houston, Mississippi dated January 22 1970 Dan W Bridges Dies at 94 - Daniel William Bridges, pioneer Houston retired farmer, died at 12:30 Sunday morning at the Houston Hospital. He was 94. Funeral services were conducted from the Houston Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm, Monday, Jan. 19, with the Rev. Ira Bright officiating. Interment was in the Houston Cemetery. Mr. Bridges was born in Houston March 22, 1875. He was the son of John and Katherine Weaver Bridges. He was a member of the Arbor Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Daniel Tuberville of Houston; two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
