Notes - Submitter: BARBARA Jarabek Subject: Preston/Abigail Holt Message: Reply to Bill Dearth. I have info on Preston G. Holt b.5/13/1890-d.5/11/1973 from Newport TN who was my grandmother's brother. Called him "Boss". He was married to Dilly A. (Could be Abigail). She was born 7/14/1896--d. 10/7/1984. They had 11 children. Some of the names were: J.C., Jessie, Brasfield, Perry, Margie Golden. Preston's siblings were: Nora, Belle, Bessie, John C., Martha Emeline(Emma),Lizzie and "Dude". Emma is my grandmother. Preston was a private in the army in WWI. I got this info from their headstones in the family cemetary on McCowan Creek Rd. Newport and from their son Perry.
