Notes - She was proceeded in death by her parents, Frank Clifford Marquiss and Ann Eliza (Gilkison) Marquiss; her husband, Donald Adrian Robison; brother Kenneth Byron Marquiss; sister Burnelle Marquiss; and adopted son William E. Robison. She is survived by twin sisters, Lois Marquiss Brasfield of Huntsville, Alabama and Lee Wells of Ridgecrest, California.
Jean was born Violett Jean Marquiss - she did not like Violet and has always used Jean. Violet was the name of both Frank's niece and possibly an ex-girlfriend. Jean was shown as Violet Gene Marquiss on her birth certificate. Wyoming began keeping records in her birth year. Birth announcement in the Gillete News, published on May 4, 1917.
She and her husband, Donald Adrian Robison took in a number of foster children. Several of them used the last name, or formally took the last name, of Robison. Including:
Gary Denis (Call) Robison, his sister Teresa L. Call, Teresa "T.J." Marie Hedger, Billie DeWilde, etc. They also formally adopted William Eugene (Smiley) Robison.
