- MALTA, Montana 11/3/2010 - Anna May (Ebaugh) Kinkade, 90, died of natural causes Oct. 26 in Thompson Falls.Her memorial service is 11 a.m. Nov. 12 at the Little White Church in Malta, followed by a lunch. Burial will take place in Malta Cemetery. Kirkwood Funeral Home of Malta is handling arrangements there. She was born to John and Anna Ebaugh in Malta, Mont., on Oct. 4, 1920. Growing up with one brother and three sisters, she attended school and graduated from Malta High School in 1938. Her siblings included Harold Ebaugh, Sadie Brasfield, Stella Pewonka and Penny Winter, who all preceded her in death. She was proud of her family's history, with her father being a woolbuyer in the early 1900s and later serving as justice of the peace in Malta in the 1930s and 1940s. In 1901, her mother, Anna Hansen, sailed alone at age 17 to the U.S.A. from Denmark, to live with her brother in North Dakota, later moving to Montana. Anna May was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Little White Church and Royal Neighbors. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Kinkade (Judy) of Apple Valley, Calif., and Rusty Kinkade (Shirley) of Thompson Falls, Mont.; seven grandchildren, Lillian Kinkade, Laura Kinkade, Amanda Hall, Armand Reixach, Sheridee Kinkade, Lacey Scharfe and Skyler Kinkade; as well as five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
