- It is with great sadness that I am writing to inform you of the death of Maurice Duane Wilson (July 1, 1927 - March 24, 2005.) He was the husband of Jearldene Hattie Brassfield. He was recovering nicely from a 5 vein bypass surgery and died quietly in his sleep at home. Maurice was a strong Christian and we know he was with the Lord. He was a survivor. He had polio as a child and was not expected to walk--he did. He had one of the first partial lung removal operations in 1947 when he had Valley Fever. After 18 months in the hospital, he went home. He survied a 6 vein bypass surgery about 10 years ago. He served his country in the United States Navy. He is missed! Judy Owen Robbins grobbin@earthlink.net
