Deceased Name: Elden "Smokey' Baker
Elden "Smokey" Baker, 71, of Golden, an employee of the city of Golden, died Nov. 3 in Wheat Ridge. Services were Thursday at Olinger Woods Chapel. Interment was in Golden Cemetery.
He was born July 27, 1930, in Hutchinson, Kan. He married Virginia F. Losasso. She preceded him in death. He served in the Army and the Navy. He was a volunteer firefighter for Fairmount Fire District. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Faith Baptist Church.
He is survived by two stepsons, Andy Losasso, Rio Rancho, N.M., and Bill Losasso, Seminole, Fla.; five brothers, Roy, Aurora, Darrell McMullen, West Plains, Mo., William McMullen, Grand Junction, Michael McMullen, Golden, and Terry Cramer, Leadville; three sisters, Patricia Lane, Golden, Sandy Hrouda, Arvada, and Judy Marrs, Montrose; and three grandchildren.
