Half-siblings were Abby Lorene Eudora, Gladys Faye, Gretchen Marie, Weldon Joyce, Martin and George Ray Brasfield. He was a farmer by occupation. His cause of death is listed as his head being cut in half and his right arm cut off, possibly due to a farm equipment accident. Informant on death certificate was his older brother, Ivey Leslie Brasfield. Funeral arrangements were handled by Smith Funeral Home.
