- BRASFIELD Wanda Mary Ann Brasfield, 75, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, December 19, 2008, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born February 13, 1933, in Lesterville, Missouri, a daughter of the late William C. and Ethel Ellen (Lashly) Maxwell. On February 5, 1950, she was united in marriage to Granville Brasfield, who survives at their home. Wanda was a Licensed Beautician and was a Model for Revlon Makeup Company. She was also a Buyer for Able Drug Stores in Pasadena, Texas. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and was very fond of all her church family and friends. She is also survived by one son, Granville Graden Brasfield II (wife Carol Ann) of Pasadena, Texas; two daughters, Pamela Sue King (husband Gary) of Bridge City, Texas and Cynthia Barfield of Jefferson City, MO; three sisters, Wilma McGillis, Willene Fox, Winnora Azerolo; three brothers, Weldon Maxwell, Wilburn Maxwell, Wallace Maxwell; six grandchildren, Emily, Graden, Jonathan, Cara, Austin and Cole; and a host of family members, which include nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Mark Anthony Barfield; and six siblings, Leon, Willis, Orville, Willard, Elise and Winnoia Maxwell. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2008, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, with Rev. Brian Credille officiating. Graveside Services will be held at Grandview Cemetery in Pasadena, Texas. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church or the .
