She was married to Raymond Adams. He died in 1950. Regards, James W. Adams ********** Berta Brasfield Adams ADAMS, BERTA BRASFIELD, age 104, of West Jefferson passed away Tuesday at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of West Jefferson Baptist Church. Private graveside services will be held on Friday April 27, 2007. Rev. Donald Batson will officiate. Visitation for friends is Wednesday evening 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Adams and her son, Jack M. Adams. She is survived by her sons, James Adams and wife Linda of Forestdale, and Bobby Adams of West Jefferson; grandchildren, Michael Adams and wife Mitzi of West Jefferson, and Terri Adams of Las Cruces, NM; and great granddaughter, Angel Adams. The family wishes to express their thanks to Carolyn Simmons of Care Tenders and the staff of New Beacon Hospice for their wonderful care of Mrs. Adams.
