He leaves three sons, Jeffery Brasfield of Loveland, Colo., and James Brasfield and Jonathan Brasfield, both of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; two sisters, Bertha Brasfield Ray and Mary Brasfield Goad, both of Arkansas; four brothers, Bobby Brasfield of Murfreesboro, Clifford Brasfield of Los Angeles, and James Brasfield and Billy Brasfield, both of Arkansas; three stepbrothers, Lanny Stanley of Germantown, Paul Shea of Corinth, Miss., and Ronnie Geddings of Memphis, and two grandchildren.
