    Peter Huff, (1756-1845), volunteered 1776 in the Flying Camp and was called out on tours of duty every other month throughout the war. He served under Captains Nicholas Still-well, John Hankinson, Abraham Cowingone, Moses Esty and Edward Wilmot and was in the rear guard at the battle of Monmouth. He was born in New Jersey; removed to Kentucky, 1794, where in 1832 he received a pension in Mercer county for two years actual service as private New Jersey line.
    Cornelius Van Arsdalen, (1748-1843), enlisted 1775 as orderly sergeant and was commissioned lieutenant 1777. In 1832 he was placed on the pension roll of Kentucky for service in the New Jersey militia. He was born in Somerset county, N. J.; died in Mercer Co., Ky.
