    CENTERVILLE, Ind. -- Earl Brasfield, age 68, of Centerville, went to be with the Lord Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at Reid Hospital.

    CENTERVILLE, Ind. - Earl Brasfield, age 68, of Centerville, went to be with the Lord Friday, February 11, 2011, at Reid Hospital. Born January 5, 1943, in Kansas City, Mo., to Earl and Annie Cofer Brasfield, he lived in this area for 21 years. Earl was a Riverside High School graduate and was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Printgraphics and was an upholsterer. Earl was a former member of the American Legion. He loved to fish and was a jokester and a great character. Survivors include his wife, Anna F. Marcum Brasfield to whom he was married April 20, 1972; son, Staff Sgt. Brandon Brasfield (wife Tami) of New Palestine, Ind.; daughters, Natalie Taylor of Sacramento, Calif., and Renia Moody (husband Aubrey) of Abington; grandchildren, Rick Moody, Nick Moody, Jesse Taylor, Ashley Taylor, Cage Brasfield and Steele Brasfield; brothers, Lyn Brasfield of Paramount, Calif., Frank Brasfield of Gallatin, Mo., and Lee Ray Brasfield of Riverside Calif.; sister, Velma Day of Riverside, Calif.; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bill and Raymond Brasfield. Visitation for Earl Brasfield will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main St., Centerville. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Marcum officiating. Burial will be in Abington Cemetery.
