HOUSTON - Karen Susan Zeven Brassfield, 53, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born Jan. 15, 1952, in Chicago to the late David Zeven and the late Pearl Albun Zeven. She was a caregiver and a Pentecostal. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Houston with Bro. Tommy Byars officiating. Memorial Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include her husband, John Brassfield of Houston; a daughter, Jessica DaDa of Waukegan, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers will be Brandon Hughes, Shane McCammom, Calvin Gregory, Lucky Brassfield, Jamey Rowlett, Justin Cross and DeWayne Brassfield.
