Interment was held in Old Field Cemetery.
Mr. Brassfield was disabled and attended First Assembly of God church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Ann Brassfield of Houston; one son, Ricky D. Brassfield; five sisters, Virginia Gregory of Pontotoc, Wanda Gregory of Woodland, Carolyn Gann and her husband, Ray, both of Houston, Joe Cross and her husband, Dean, both of Houlka, Katherine Hughes and her husband, Tom, both of Woodland; four brothers, Stevie Brassfield and his wife, Ruby, both of Houston; Lucky Brassfield and his wife, Gerildine, both of Fulton, John Brassfield and his wife, Karen, both of Hamilton, David Brassfield and his wife, Connie, both of Houston.

PONTOTOC - Ricky "Little Ricky, Micky" Brassfield, 29, of Pontotoc, died July 29, 2011, after an automobile accident. He was born May 19, 1982 in Tupelo. He married Kimberly Cumberland April 17, 2003, worked as an assistant supervisor for Southern Quality Meats and was of the Apostolic Faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Baldwin-Nowell Funeral Home Chapel of Pontotoc with Bro. Ray Hamblin officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Baldwin-Nowell Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Brassfield of Pontotoc; parents, Gary Wayne Sullivan and Tami Sullivan of Pontotoc; two daughters, Madison Nichole "Monkey" and Leanna Grace Brassfield of the home; one sister, Alisha Sullivan of Houston; one brother, Derrick "Biscuit" Sullivan of Houlka; grandmother, Clara Branch of Houston; grandparents, James and Lynell Branch of Houston; one niece, Jacey Malone; two nephews, L.J. Sullivan and Hunter Sullivan; a host of aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Lynn Brassfield; and grandparents, Rex and Bertha Brassfield and Robert and Modene Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Brassfield, Michael Cooper, Brandon Hughes, A.J. Mann, Jamie Rowllet and Michael Nix.
Honorary pallbearer will be Derrick Brassfield.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
