Mike, in the census, she is listed as Ida Vera. They named her Ida Vera Ann. When she left home see when by Vera Ann. That is the name she was married under and all her records are under that name. I am the eldest of all the Ervin Brassfield grandchildren. My mother was the second of Ervin Matt. His eldest child, John Victor, died of Typhoid fever at age 12.
