Katharine (McCoy) McIntosh, 82, of Edgerton, WI, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at the Edgerton Hospital. She was born on June 26, 1926, in Edgerton, the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (McCoy) McIntosh. Katharine was a graduate of the UW Madison. She enjoyed current events, her Springer Spaniels, politics, traveling, at one time in her life she lived in Libya, Sumatra and Columbia. She was an avid reader, served on the Edgerton School Board and loved to share a glass of wine with her friends. She was a member of the UW Alumni and was also involved with the Rock County Humane Society. Katharine is survived by two cousins, Martha Berry of New York and James McIntosh of Middleton; and many friends. Upon her request there are to be no services. The EHLERT FUNERAL HOME of Edgerton assisted the family.
