Hi Mike many thanks for your prompt reply to my email, the news of Henry's marriage gives me another line of research if I can trace his wife's family I might find a new lead.
Henry C. Brassfield snr. was a Butler by profession he married Helana, surname as yet unknown born in the Netherlands in 1850.
They had three children Charles b unknown, Henry C.jnr b1880, both in Walworth London & Charlotte H M b1882 in Marylebone London. Henry probably returned to England at the outbreak of WW1 in 1914 which would explain his return to the USA in 1920, although my late Aunt seemed unaware of any marriage. Will keep you updated on any new info.
I am copying info to Carol we have been working together on this for some years she is a great help to me and will be putting it on her website

I am trying to trace the ancestors of HENRY F .C . BRASSFIELD who emigrated from London England in 1911 . The immigration record gives his age as 30 yrs 10 months on arrival 06 March 1911. Occupation electrician .
His destination was to a friend W .C . MALLOWS of 404 1/2 Russelwood Ave , Pittsburg Pa
On 14 Aug 1920 immigration records show CHARLES WILLIAM BRASSFIELD age 32 and HENRY BRASSFIELD age 39 both clerks . Their UK home address is same as that given by Henry F .C . Brassfield . The U .S . destination is to Henry F .C . at 151 Breckenridge Ave Tarentum Pa .
I live in the UK and am actually researching my late husband's line (he was a Brassfield from Colorado from an ancestor who emigrated back in 1698 ) but I have been assisting an English Brassfield cousin . She has UK records of the above people but we don't know what happened to them in the U .S . Would appreciate some help if anyone has info . Thanks .
