    Notes:

    Dr. Ken Brassfield of Gosnell died June 15, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in West Plains, Mo., he was 47.

    He has been a resident of Arkansas most of his life and was a minister of the Charismatic faith. He was the founder of Central Christian University in North Carolina, Ministry Centrex, the Mentoring Centre and co-founder of Team Delta Force. A man known for his distinctive blend of humor and personal management skills, he helped many individuals, ministers and ministries all over the world. He was the Chancellor of Central Christian Bible College in North Carolina. He was assistant pastor to his father, Dr. Leon Brassfield, approximately 20 years ago in Blytheville at Gospel Lighthouse Church, which he helped build. He organized feeding programs, bus ministries, Christian education arenas and helped the administration of Pathway Ministries develop their Christian School, Pathway Christian Academy, that is still in business today. He was an avid trout fisherman and golfer. A devoted husband, father, brother, son and friend who will be sorely missed.

    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. W.C. Pruett and Mr. and Mrs. John Brassfield.

    He is survived by his wife, Dr. Terri James Brassfield of the home; his children, Adam and Tamatha Brassfield and Aaron and Miranda Brassfield, all of Blytheville; his parents, Dr. Leon and Myra Brassfield of Heber Springs; his in-laws, Tommie and Nina James of Blytheville; his brother, Dr. Phil Brassfield and wife, Cathy, of Heber Springs; his brother-in-law, Barry James and wife, Nancy, of Marmaduke and a host of relatives and friends.

    A private graveside service will be held.

    Arrangements are by Cobb Funeral Home, Inc. of Blytheville.
