Sandra Kay Brasfield Sandra Kay Brasfield, age 56, of Lockhart, TX and formerly of New Braunfels, passed away March 9, 2011 at Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle. She was born May 10, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas to Gustave L. Johle and Alice Martha Hierholzer Johle. She married Roger A. Brasfield on December 8, 1984 in New Braunfels. She was raised attending the First United Methodist Church in New Braunfels. Upon marrying her husband they became members of Ward Memorial United Methodist Church in Austin, TX and then Buda United Methodist Church. Sandra worked in the medical field as a registered occupational therapist for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Roger A. Brasfield of Lockhart, TX. Visitation will be held Friday, March 11, 2011 at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels from 6 PM to 8 PM. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 10 AM at the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park located on Hwy 46 between New Braunfels and Seguin, TX.
