Notes:

Mrs. Vickey Weston Brasfield, of Marion, Arkansas, formerly of West Memphis, departed this life on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at her home at the age of 51.

She was born October 4, 1957 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of G.S. “Bill” Weston and Mary Meeks Weston. Vickey was a 1975 graduate of West Memphis High School and a member of the Church of Christ. She loved hunting and fishing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She married Dewayne Brasfield on March 11, 1976 and they enjoyed 33 years together. She was employed by Stoneriver Phamarcy Solutions in Memphis, TN, where she was a P.A.S. Team Leader and helped people with workman’s comp insurance claims.

She is survived by her husband, Dewayne Brasfield of the home, one daughter and son in law, Christina and Scott Simmons of West Memphis, Arkansas, her parents, Bill and Mary Weston of Harrisburg, Arkansas, one sister, Margaret Lewis and her husband Dennis of Jonesboro, Arkansas, three brothers, James Weston and his wife Shara of Bainbridge, Georgia, Mark Weston and his wife Tunene of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Tim Weston and his wife Marietta of Paragould, Arkansas, two grandsons, Alex Simmons and Connor Simmons of West Memphis, Arkansas and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2009, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, Arkansas with Mr. Lyndal Dale officiating.

Pallbearers will be Robert Fountain, Michael Jones, Anthony Weston, Lafe Weston, Craig Weston, and Scott Simmons.

Interment will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg.

Friends may visit at the funeral home, Saturday evening, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
