Walter Lee Brasfield
Walter Lee Brasfield, Lee’s Summit, died Aug. 16, 2010. Walt was born Sept. 11, 1958 in Wichita, Kan. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph, and an infant daughter. He is survived by his mother, Amy (Ball) Brasfield, Edwardsville, Ill.; children, Amanda Brasfield, Chicago, Ill., and Derrick (Michelle) Brasfield, Granite City, Ill.; one grandson, Gabarial Brasfield, Granite City; and brothers, Ronald, Lee’s Summit, and Steven, Cahokia, Ill. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the St. Louis area. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, www.victoryjunction.org.
