    Obituary: Karney Aytch Brasfield, 87, Fairfax, VA, passed away April 29, 1996, at Fairfax Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Money & King Vienna Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA; interment in National Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
    Mr. Brasfield was a graduate of Washington University at St. Louis, where he was a Kappa Sigma . He served in the Army-Air Corp during WWII. He was a noted author of professional Accounting texts. He was Treasurer of Commodity Credit and later moved to the Department of Agriculture. He worked for the General Accounting Office as Assistant to the Comptroller General. He left the government service in 1957 and joined Touche-Ross, now Deloitte-Touche. He retired in 1972 to enjoy North Anna Farm in Spotsylvania County, VA, where he raised black angus cattle. This farm later became a gift to Washington University. He was a devoted family man and made a contribution to every person he touched. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Karen Brasfield and Duane Dargis, his son, Brad Lusk Brasfield; two grandchildren, Shaun Michael Dargis and Christopher Mark Dargis.
