SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Everett "Swede" Vincent O'Meara, 95, of Sioux Falls passed away Dec. 1, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Center in Sioux Falls.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.heritagesfsd.com.
Survivors include his children, James W. (Mireya) O'Meara of Avon, Minn., Dennis E. (Kay) O'Meara of San Gabriel, Calif., John M. O'Meara of Indianapolis, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Ginny Holmes of Sioux Falls, Barbara May of Lake Madison, S.D., Jeffrey Snyder of Sioux Falls; seven stepgrandchildren; 10 great-stepgrandchildren; and a sister, Rita Brassfield of Sergeant Bluff.
Everett was preceded in death by his wives, Helen in 1954 and Minnie in 2001; two sons, Donald and Thomas; and brother, Arthur.
