    Levica Alma Hollingsworth was born December 22, 1859 in Harrison County, Ohio and when a child came with her parents to Iowa. She was married to James Query July 15, 1877 and to this union eight children were born. Her husband and four children preceded her in death. The surviving children are Mrs. Mary Chew of Villisca, Mrs. Margaret Shearburn of St. Paul, Nebraska, W. F. Query, Kallispell, Montana, Mrs. Ruth Nipper, Omaha, Nebraska, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. also one brother and one sister surviving, J. W. Hollingsworth, Nodaway and Mrs. Chas Perryman of Sioux Falls, South Dakotha. Late in life she was married to John Carothers who preceded her in death.

    She has always been a member of the Methodist Church and caring for the sick was to her a sacred privilege, a faithful and beloved mother answered her call Wednesday, July 10, 1940, aged 50 years, 6 months, and 12 days, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Chew in Villisca. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. Buhler, pastor of the M. E. Church Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Pittman Funeral Home in Villisca. Singing was by Margaret Lindell with elaine routh at the piano. The songs were "The Rose of Sharon" and "I Am A Pilgrim."

    The pallbearers were members of her own familyu, V. W. Nipper, Fletcher and Donald Nipper, George Shearburn, J. W. Query, and Duane Perryman. Burial was in the Nodaway Cemetery.

    LITTLE CHILD DIES
    Burnelle Marquiss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Marquiss, of this city, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds, in Sheridan, last Monday evening, at the age of four and a half years. The little one had been a sufferer from a complicated silment for some time and some two or three weeks ago was taken to Sheridan that she might receive treatment from specialists, but despite all efforts to afford her relief, nothing availed, and death ensued on that date to end her sufferinges. The body was brought to this city on Tuesday evening and funeral survices were held from the Baptist Church on Wednesday afternoon and were attended by a large concourse of sorrowning friends. Burial was made in Mr. Pisgah Cemetery. To the bereaved parents the news unites with a host of friends in extending heartfelt sympathy, and in this, their hour of affliction, we commend them to the grace, mercy an peace of Him who said, "Suffer the little ones to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

    She and her husband, Donald Adrian Robison took in a number of foster children. Several of them used the last name, or formally took the last name, of Robison. Including:
    Gary Denis (Call) Robison, his sister Teresa L. Call, Teresa "T.J." Marie Hedger, Billie DeWilde, etc. They also formally adopted William Eugene (Smiley) Robison.
